DENNIS D. BAUMAN - Principal

Mr. Bauman has over 27 years experience in the assessment, design, procurement, and ongoing management of systems to support user requirements in complex telecommunication, information and building automation systems and networks in the public and private sectors including numerous multi-site and campus-based corporate, institutional and educational clients.

 

Specific project types and recent experience include extensive participation/manage­ment of projects to evaluate, design, specify, and commission complex systems in such areas as:

 

      Voice/Data/Text/Video Telecommunication Systems and Networks - Stand-alone and networked PBXs, ACDs and telemarketing networks, accounting and management systems, voice and text messaging systems, satellite and microwave systems, and video teleconferencing systems.

      Fire/Life Safety Systems and Code Evaluation - Multiplexed, addressable, detection, alarm, and suppression systems for laboratory, hospital, office, and computer centers.

      Security and Access Control - Physical and logical security and control systems.

      Energy Management and Conservation Systems - Distribution systems to monitor and control large campus environments.

      Cable and Wire Distribution and Management Systems - Integrated distribution systems to support telecommunication, audio-visual, fire/life safety, security, and energy management systems via a variety of media including twisted copper pair, coax, fiber optics, and microwave systems in campus and large end-user environments.

      Disaster and Business Recovery Planning - Developed disaster and business recovery plans for voice and data processing and switching systems.

      Strategic Technology Planning - Managed and conducted projects to develop strategic technology plans for critical telecommunication and information system dependent operations.
