King Drew Medical Magnet High School - Los Angeles Unified School District
ISDG teamed with a large architectural firm to “design-build” an urban medical magnet high school. ISDG was retained to provide consulting, design, specifications, and implementation assistance in the development of high technology voice/data/video systems, and services for this 186,000 sq. ft high school. Advanced telecommunications facilities included full television production studio and down-link satellite service from LA County Instruction Television network. Additional systems included were audio-visuals, telecommunications, video distribution, paging, and intercom. ISDG was responsible for physical security, fire alarm, and energy management/conservation systems, and investigative options and system designs that will provide a link between the medical center and the school to provide enhanced educational experience for the students.
Little Company of Mary Hospital – Torrance, California
ISDG was retained to provide extensive consulting and design services during construction of a new 125 bed acute patient tower and the remodeling of all existing professional and clinical spaces within the campus environment. Responsibilities included voice and data telecommunications, laboratory and clinical equipment networking, paging, nursing call, code blue, and CATV systems. Additionally, ISDG conducted a network design project to link the main facility with several off-site locations for voice and data telecommunications, security and energy management systems.
Loma Linda University Medical Center – Loma Linda, California
ISDG performed network analysis to determine the cost benefit of a “Software Defined Network” proposal developed by AT&T. ISDG also reviewed the Center’s strategic plan for a major PBX’s microwave systems, fiber-optic backbones, and the future implementation of an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN).
ISDG was retained to provide extensive consulting and design services in the DOD project to substantially upgrade a 100 bed acute care hospital and conduct a major new clinic facility. ISDG’s responsibilities included voice and data telecommunications, laboratory and clinical equipment networking, paging, nurse call and code blue, security, fire alarm, CATV and specialty-use radio transmission/radio antenna systems. ISDG also re-evaluated AUTOVAN voice and packet data network interfaces and the redesign of network gateways for the base. This project was completed in 1995 and is part of the Base Relocation and Closure program.
Mount Elizabeth and East Shore Hospitals – Singapore
ISDG provided telecommunication systems involving nurse call, intercom, music page, and Master Antenna TV (MATV), and Closed Circuit TV (CCTV).
Pomona Valley Community Hospital – Pomona, California
ISDG professional assigned to project was responsible for design and implementation of nurse call, video, CATV, CCTV, music/page, fire alarm, and intercom systems as part of a major facility upgrade project.
Saint Mary’s Desert Valley Hospital – Apple Valley, California
ISDG was retained to assist in the replacement of voice telecommunication system and to implement voice messaging, automated attendant and patient call billing systems in preparation for an extensive remodeling and 110 bed expansion. Additionally, ISDG conducted a study to redesign the local, intra-and inter-lata, and long distance networks.
University of Virginia Replacement Hospital – Charlotteville, Virginia
ISDG initial project consisted of a systems integration study which included telecommunications, voice, data and video network design, construction documentation development, and installation observation for a 600 plus bed full service hospital facility. The general design included recommendations for a CADD- based network cable management system and design of a CATV based instructional TV system.
