ISDG, was retained by this brokerage company to assist in the relocation of a 45,000 sf office space in Santa Monica, California. ISDG’s scope of services included the design and specification of the voice, data, video infrastructure, video teleconferencing and audiovisual presentation systems, an RFP for telephone systems, and the design of access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV monitoring systems. ISDG also assisted in establishing contracts for security monitoring services, and the installation of trader turrets, and high speed data networking services.
ISDG was retained by this commercial bank to conduct an RFP project to replace the telephone systems in the bank’s main branch and in the bank’s remote data center. Mr. Bauman served as the Project Manager for a project to design, specify, bid, and implement a new fiberoptic backbone for this 125,000 sf building. The project also included designing a modular high speed data network wiring scheme for large areas of modular workstations.
Mr. Bauman served as the Project Manager to implement a major upgrade to Transamerica Insurance Group’s corporate WAN. The project included migrating the firm from a dedicated low speed SDLC-based network to a high speed IP-based network.
Mr. Bauman assisted the project team in the design of a fiber-to-the-desk high speed data network in over 600,000 sf building in New York. Work included the configuration of an infrastructure that could accommodate conversion from trader’s turrets to administration office space with a minimum of rewiring.
Mr. Bauman served as Project Principal in a project to design, specify, and implement the “Data Center distribution network” for the firm’s new data center. Work also included the design of an extensive intrusion detection system for this “unmanned” facility.
Mr. Bauman served as Project Principal in a project to design, specify, and implement the upgrade of the bank’s data center wiring and cabling plant. The project included the development of a “transition plan” to minimize any downtime as faulty older coaxial cable was removed to make room for new fiber optic and copper wiring.
