KINDERGARTEN TO 12th GRADE

Arcadia Unified School District - Arcadia, California

ISDG provided high technology consulting services for the modernization of sixteen   K-12 schools for district-operated closed circuit television (CCTV) distribution system connected to commercial cable television (CATV) networks.  ISDG established requirements for specifying and coordinating implementation of high technology security, EMS, data and video, and television systems in all schools.  ISDG developed and deployed a District-wide WAN to deliver administrative and academic services utilizing a combination of traditional telephone company data services and wireless.

 

Escondido Unified School District - Escondido, California

ISDG was retained to develop specifications and construction documents for the modernization for five schools. ISDG’s responsibilities included establishing long term LAN and WAN technology goals to support voice/data/video systems; reviews of fire alarm/life safety, security/access control and automated energy management and conservation systems.

 

King/Drew Medical Magnet High School - Los Angeles, California

ISDG provided consulting, design, specifications and implementation assistance in the development of high technology voice/data/video systems and services for this 186,000 square foot high school.  As a member of an architectural team involved in a “design-build” concept for the urban medical magnet facility,  ISDG’s responsibilities included establishing  audio-visuals, telecommunications, television and video distribution, paging, and intercom systems.

 

Mater Dei High School- Santa Ana, California

ISDG was commissioned in the design of the multi-media laboratory.  This project required the full design of 16 position high-end multi-media laboratory for this private high school. ISDG’s scope of work included the design of custom workstations, specifications for server and workstation hardware and software, and full construction documentation for electrical, mechanical, lighting and  technology infrastructure.  The facility will be utilized by staff and students for the development of multi-media curriculum and presentations.

 

Oceanside Unified School District – Oceanside, California

ISDG was retained to assist the District in the development of a strategic plan for the District-wide use of high technology systems.  Systems addressed included voice, data, video, LAN’s and WAN’s.  ISDG then developed a work-plan to develop a mission statement, prioritize funding, address training and implementation.  The plan also established a long term methodology to review progress and update the plan.

 

Oxnard School District- Oxnard, California

ISDG conducted a project for the District to renovate an existing 2,000 sf former warehouse space Into District Television studio, technology support facility, and 800 sf mezzanine storage area.  ISDG’s scope of work included retaining and coordinating an interdisciplinary consultant team, and the design of editing, production and control, and training facilities within the center.  The studio will be used by District staff, students, and the community for TV production and multi-media editing.

 

Pajaro Unified School District- Watsonville, California

ISDG was retained to develop bid documents for the replacement of the District-Wide Telecommunications system.  The project was used to establish the District standard for telecommunication systems and a long term discounted pricing schedule with the manufacturer.  The system will be placed in each site as modernization projects are undertaken.

ISDG additional scope of work was the modernization of three high schools.  ISDG was retained by The District to identify technology system options and to develop construction documents for the Technology upgrade of three large high schools. ISDG ‘s scope included voice, data, video infrastructures and equipment, paging and clocks, security and facility management.  The projects are undertaken in conjunction  with the District’s long-term objective to implement advance technology systems throughout the District.

 

Paramount Unified School District - Paramount, California

ISDG assisted in the long range planning for the voice/data/video/security/fire alarm and automated energy management systems including district-wide administration, library/information, retrieval systems, video distribution, and backbone LAN/data network systems and services.  ISDG designed and managed the acquisition and implementation of LAN and WAN systems and networks to deliver administrative and academic services to all District sites.

 

Redlands Unified School District - Redlands, California

ISDG designed, specified and implemented the high technology component of a project to build a 2,000 student comprehensive high school and modernize two middle schools.  ISDG's program included voice, data, video, security/access control, auditorium, and gymnasium sound systems.

 

San Bernardino City Unified School District - San Bernardino, California

ISDG reviewed both immediate and long-term district requirements for security and access control to the district's various facilities.

 

San Diego Unified School District - San Diego, California

Proposition “O” -  ISDG has served as the high technology consultant for the modernization of over 100 schools under the District's Proposition "O" and Proposition “MM” multi-million dollar bonds.  Under Proposition “O”, ISDG established requirements and specifications for the implementation of voice, data, and video systems in all facilities. The project also supplies educational television to all classrooms via microwave to county of San Diego Instructional Television’s (ITV) network.

Proposition “MM”- In the 4th series of major projects that ISDG has undertaken for SDUSD, ISDG is serving as the technology consultant for projects updating 12 elementary schools and three high schools in the San Diego Unified School District.

While working under contract to six different architectural teams, ISDG has also assisted the District in establishing District-wide standards for technology systems and infrastructures, site technology review methodologies, and specifications and details for voice, data, video, security, public address, and stand-alone audiovisual systems.  In addition to these projects, ISDG has developed transition methodologies to allow existing level of technology systems to remain in service until the “MM” systems are ready for operation.

 

Southern Kern Unified School District- Rosamond, California

ISDG was retained by the District to assist the architectural team in the design and specification of Technology infrastructures at two elementary, one middle, and one high school.  ISDG’s scope of work included establishing conduit routing systems, wiring, and cabling for voice, data, and video infrastructures, and the design and specifications of data, video, and security systems.

 

Stuart Mesa Elementary School- Oceanside, California

ISDG was retained by the architectural team in charge of designing this new elementary school.  ISDG’s responsibilities included the identification of requirements for technology systems and services, and the production of construction drawings and specifications for voice, data, video, and security systems.

 

Townview Center Magnet High School - Dallas, Texas

ISDG assisted in design of voice, data, video, security and EMS systems and distribution networks for this 160,000 square foot facility containing six magnet high school programs.

 

Vista Unified School District - Vista, California

ISDG was responsible for the high technology component of project to modernize eight K-9 schools.  ISDG’s responsibilities included security, EMS, voice, telecommunications, data, and video systems in all schools.

 

Johnson County School District- Buffalo, Wyoming

ISDG was retained to help address high technology system implementations in the District’s two comprehensive high schools.  Additionally, ISDG provided support to the architectural team in establishing requirement definitions for technology systems. Utilizing State and District standards,  ISDG prepared drawing and specifications construction documents for voice, data, video, audiovisual, security and related systems and support infrastructures.

 

Whittier Union High School District, Whittier, California

Bond Modernization- Working directly for the District’s Bond Modernization, ISDG has established District Standards, and developed construction documents for the technology systems to be upgraded or implemented in each of the District’s six comprehensive high schools.

Coordinating with three AE teams, ISDG’s scope of work included extensive interaction with the District and individual site Technology Committees. Additionally, ISDG assisted in the design of  “standardized classrooms” and technology and science laboratory layouts to ensure that the technology systems and supporting infrastructures will address all foreseeable curriculum requirements on each site.

 

Walnut Valley Unified School District, Walnut, California

PBX Replacement - ISDG was initially retained to assist the District in conducting a project to upgrade an existing PBX network that had become obsolete. In conducting this project, ISDG also assisted the District in developing standard specifications for voice, data and video, infrastructures, and developed a plan to reduce equipment and on-going service cost by providing voice, data and video services from the District Office to a nearby elementary school.

 

Fresno Unified School District, Fresno, California

PBX/Wan Replacement/Sunnyside High School Construction - ISDG was retained to conduct several projects within the District. As technology consultants for the new Sunnyside High School,

ISDG designed voice, data, and video and security systems and distribution network for this project. ISDG also conducted a project to replace existing telephone switches throughout the District with the networked PBX’s providing centralized attendant services and voicemail for over 100 individual facilities.

 

Santa Clara Unified School District, Santa Clara, California

PBX Replacement/District Office Cabling- As part of the District’s modernization bond project,

ISDG’s was retained to assist the District in the upgrade wiring and cabling infrastructure in the district office, three high schools, two middle schools, and six elementary schools. Additionally, ISDG’s scope of work included developing special technology standards for libraries and science laboratories, as well as district-wide standard specifications for voice/data wiring and fiber-optic cabling, security and audiovisual systems.
